Another masterpiece by Kwakiulth artist Silas Coon just arrived:

Very interesting RAVEN bringing the light - Miniature Rattle

inlaid with abalone!! The carving is so close to perfect, it's clearly done by a master of this art. You just don't find this kind of Quality out there. I'm honored to present Silas' art - and - it's always just a real pleasure to meet with him and to chat about the history of his peoples and to hear all the stories of his upbringing. He credits his cousin Beau Dick and also learned techniques and the skills of carving from George Hunt Jr. 

Silas specializes in the carving of miniatures - his pieces are highly sought after by private Collectors and Galleries all over the world 

The amulet/pendant does come with a little stand so it can be presented nicely while you are not wearing it. It's just a fabulous piece. a real little Gem!
